Splice: SVG you can edit by hand or by markup
Splice is a multi-file SVG workspace where the artwork and the markup are two views of the same model. Edit a path node, see the source update; tweak the source, watch the artwork redraw. No more hand-editing tool-generated SVG noise.
Who it's for
Developers who have to edit SVG icons by hand, designers who want to tune a path with code, and anyone who has fought tool-generated SVG that explodes to five hundred lines of unreadable noise.
What it does
A multi-file SVG workspace with node-level path editing (handles, Bézier curves, snap points), a live code pane that is one keystroke away, bulk export, and sensible defaults (tidy markup, no transform-matrix spam).
How we built it
Two models of the same artwork — a parsed AST and an SVG string — are kept in sync via a diff-aware serializer, so round-tripping does not scramble your layer order or add inline styles you did not ask for.
