Online Code Editor: a multi-file IDE in a browser tab
Our browser-based IDE packs multi-file editing, Markdown preview, diff and HTTP tools into a single tab — with files kept on your device and the Run button backed by ls-judge microVMs.
Who it's for
Developers who want a scratch IDE without an install, students writing coursework between devices, and anyone who needs a serious editor without surrendering their files to someone else's cloud.
What it does
Edit multiple files side by side with syntax highlighting for over 80 languages, preview Markdown live, diff files, test APIs and run code snippets against the ls-judge runtimes. Everything is backed by the same Monaco engine that powers VS Code — including IntelliSense, multi-cursor, snippets, and the full command palette.
How we built it
Pure in-browser Monaco with a layered filesystem on top so multiple tabs behave like a real workspace. Your source lives in IndexedDB on the device — the server never sees it. The Run button talks to ls-judge over HTTPS; each run spins up a fresh Firecracker microVM for isolation.
