ScribbleMate: draw over any screen while you teach

By Laxmi SolutionsPublished 1 min read

ScribbleMate floats on top of whatever you are showing — a browser, a slide deck, a video call — and lets you draw. Free, no account, no paywall.

Who it's for

Teachers running online classes, YouTubers who do tutorial recordings, and anyone demoing a web app or screenshot and wanting to point, circle, cross out.

What it does

Open ScribbleMate on top of anything — a browser, a slide deck, a video call — and draw. Choose colour, brush size, opacity. Undo and redo. Shake the device to toggle draw mode. Clear canvas, save, done.

How we built it

The web build runs as a floating iframe (we have just integrated it into Code Sprout itself — the FAB at the bottom right opens it with Ctrl + Shift + S). The Android build uses a system-level overlay permission so it floats over any app.
