Jedi: open and search huge JSON files on your phone
Jedi is the mobile JSON viewer tuned for the files that choke every other tool: hundreds of megabytes, deeply nested, with streaming search that does not block the UI.
Who it's for
Developers debugging API responses on the go, data engineers inspecting dumps away from a laptop, students looking at open-data files.
What it does
Open a JSON file (hundreds of megabytes is fine). Browse as a collapsible tree, search by key or value with results streaming as the index builds, bookmark paths, share subtrees.
How we built it
A streaming parser builds the tree lazily; children are hydrated only when a node is expanded. Search uses a prefix index that updates as you type and does not block the UI.
